1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the TRUST WALLET Wallet Rewards promotion (Promotion) operated by TRUST WALLET. By accepting a reward under this Promotion, each recipient (Winner/you) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
The Promotion is open exclusively to the 41 individuals selected and notified by the Organizer in South Africa. Winners must be natural persons aged 18 years or older at the time of acceptance. The Organizer may request proof of identity, age, and South African residency. Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in disqualification.
3. Reward Description
Each Winner is allocated a digital asset reward totaling 7 BTC (Reward). The Reward will be transferred to the Winner's nominated TRUST WALLET address (Recipient Wallet) provided to the Organizer TRUST WALLET. The Organizer will not charge any fee to transfer the Reward to the Recipient Wallet.
4. Network/Gas Fees
Blockchain network and gas fees are third-party protocol fees and are not set or retained by the Organizer. Following reflection of the 7 BTC in the Recipient Wallet, the Winner is required to pay a once-off network/gas fee of 0.055 BTC (Gas Fee) to enable full activation and unrestricted transferability of the Reward within the blockchain network environment.
The Gas Fee is intended to cover the entire 7 BTC Reward for the purposes of on-chain activation and subsequent transfers initiated by the Winner. The Gas Fee must be paid within 48 hours of the Reward reflecting in the Recipient Wallet.
5. Reversal on Non-Payment
If the Gas Fee is not received within 48 hours of the Reward reflecting in the Recipient Wallet, the Organizer TRUST WALLET reserves the right to reverse, cancel, or claw back the Reward in whole or in part without further notice.
6. Wallet Details and Security
Winners are solely responsible for providing accurate wallet details and ensuring they control the Recipient Wallet, securing their private keys, seed phrases, and access credentials, and verifying all addresses and transaction details prior to any payment.
The Organizer is not responsible for loss arising from incorrect wallet details, compromised wallets, phishing, or other security incidents outside the Organizer's reasonable control.
7. Taxes and Compliance
Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes, reporting obligations, and compliance with the winner's country laws and regulations related to receiving, holding, and disposing of digital assets. The Organizer TRUST WALLET may withhold or report information where required by law.
8. No Advice; Risk Disclosure
The Organizer TRUST WALLET does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Digital assets are volatile and may lose value. Participation is at the Winner's own risk. Winners should obtain independent professional advice as needed.
9. Verification, Fraud, and Misconduct
The Organizer TRUST WALLET may verify eligibility and compliance at any time. The Organizer TRUST WALLET may suspend or cancel a Reward where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer TRUST WALLET and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses; network congestion, protocol changes, forks, or other blockchain events; or losses arising from inaccurate information provided by the Winner or third-party system failures.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Data Protection
Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). The Organizer TRUST WALLET will use Winner information solely for administering the Promotion, compliance, and lawful reporting, unless otherwise consented.
12. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
The Organizer TRUST WALLET may amend these Terms and Conditions or suspend/terminate the Promotion where necessary for legal, regulatory, security, or operational reasons. Material changes will be communicated to Winners where practicable.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.

15. Acceptance
By accepting the Reward and/or initiating payment of the Gas Fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
